10 questions

Can my carpet be repaired instead of replaced?

Often a localised problem can be repaired, depending on the carpet’s material, wear, backing and the size of the damage. Send clear photos and a description of the problem, and we’ll discuss the repair options and provide a quote over the phone. We do not arrange visits for quotes.

Do I need to have spare carpet?

Spare carpet is useful for patching and burn repairs. If you don’t have any, a piece from a discreet area may be an option with your permission. A suitable match is not always possible.

How much does carpet repair cost?

The price depends on the type and size of the repair, the materials needed and the condition of the carpet. Quotes are provided over the phone using your photos and job description. The price may change if additional work is identified when the carpet is assessed at the repair appointment. We’ll explain any change before carrying out the extra work.

Will I be able to see the repair?

The aim is a neat result, but an invisible repair cannot be guaranteed. Differences in fading, pile direction, wear and donor material can affect the finish.

Is my selected booking time confirmed?

The calendar collects your preferred date and time window. Your repair appointment is confirmed when we contact you and finalise the details.

What should I do before a repair visit?

Send clear photos, let the team know about access or parking, and mention heavy furniture. Preparation depends on the repair, so agree on what needs moving before the visit.

Can you help after a carpet flood?

The water source, elapsed time and affected materials need to be considered. Send photos and describe what happened so we can discuss the next steps over the phone. Specialist restoration or replacement may be needed. Keep away from electrical hazards and contaminated water.

Which Melbourne suburbs are covered?

We serve all of Melbourne metro, including the inner city and the northern, southern, eastern and western suburbs. Include your suburb and address when requesting a repair so we can arrange a suitable appointment.

Can tenants and property managers request a repair?

Yes. We welcome repair enquiries from tenants, homeowners and property managers. Send photos, describe the problem and include the property address so we can discuss the repair over the phone and arrange access.

What photos should I send?

Send one close-up of the damage, one wider photo of the room and any spare carpet. Use good natural light and include a ruler for scale if useful. Avoid including people, private documents or other unnecessary personal details.
